You deserve to be paid fairly. It’s that simple.
Across race and ethnicity, women in the United States are paid just 78 cents for every dollar paid to men.
That’s more than $12,000 less per year – the equivalent of 15 months of food, nearly 13 months of child care, or the full cost of tuition and fees at a two-year community college.
For women of color, double binds of race and gender lead to even more punishing wage gaps. At the current glacial pace of change, women of color will have to wait more than a century to reach pay parity with white men.
Women and families can’t – and won’t – wait for fair pay. With your help, we will make wage discrimination a thing of the past and win the fair and family friendly policies that will help close the wage gap for good.
