Join us in the Strike For Black Lives

| Jul 20, 2020

Today is the Strike For Black Lives, a historic day where we unite to fight for a world where Black lives are valued and Black workers can build economic power. Thousands of workers are striking and demanding justice today.

We know that Black people suffer under the triple crisis of higher fatalities and infections from the coronavirus, unchecked police brutality and a rigged economy — all brought on by systemic racism. Until Black people can thrive, none of our communities can.

That’s why we’re coming together with working people and allies across the nation standing together to Strike For Black Lives.

Join us on social media to help #StrikeForBlackLives trend nationwide. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Sign the 8:46 pledge and observe a moment of silence wherever you are at noon today
  • Send your own tweet using #StrikeForBlackLives at 2 p.m. to join the tweet storm
  • Follow the hashtag #StrikeForBlackLives
  • Retweet partner organizations
