The result of today’s markup demonstrates that support for the PWFA is bipartisan and growing, and would not have been possible without the perseverance of the bill’s champions, including lead sponsor Rep. Jerry Nadler. A diverse coalition of partners agree that the PWFA is not just good for women and their families — but will also benefit businesses by increasing morale and employee productivity and decreasing costs associated with employee turnover.
