Rosann Mariappuram, JD MA, (she/her) is the director of reproductive health and health justice at the National Partnership for Women & Families, as well as a lawyer and advocate with 15 years of experience in the movements for reproductive health, rights and justice.
She previously served as the Senior Policy Counsel in Reproductive Rights at State Innovation Exchange (SIX), a nonprofit that helps state legislators improve people’s lives through transformative public policy. Prior to joining SIX, Rosann served as the Executive Director of Jane’s Due Process, a nonprofit and abortion fund that fights for young people’s bodily autonomy.
Rosann has served on the boards of Equality Texas, NARAL Pro-Choice Texas and the Lilith Fund for Reproductive Equity. Her work has been featured in the Associated Press, CBS News, Glamour, Jezebel, NPR, The New Yorker, and Teen Vogue.
Rosann received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, her M.A. in international relations from the City College of New York and her B.A. from New York University. She is originally from Ohio and is the proud daughter of immigrant parents.
