Sara Goldberg is the vice president of development at the National Partnership for Women & Families where she leads the organization’s efforts to engage and raise funds from foundations, corporations, and individuals to drive the greatest possible impact.
Over more than two decades, Sara has held roles in various aspects of non-profit fundraising, communications, strategy and operations at organizations including the National Down Syndrome Society, Humanity & Inclusion and JDRF/Breakthrough T1D. She is passionate about building community and empowering change through philanthropy.
A Midwest native, Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in history and women’s studies from Luther College and a master’s degree in social science from the University of Chicago. She lives in Takoma Park, MD and is the mother of three humans, two dogs, and a bearded dragon.
