Joseph Richards is a senior associate, DEIA at the National Partnership for Women & Families, where he drives implementation, analysis, and impact to help create a culture of openness, learning, and inclusion.
Over his career at non-profits, he has supported and led initiatives that drive authentic engagement, cultural competence, and collaboration across a global workforce with a people-first approach. He has upheld DEI frameworks, strategy, and overseen cross-functional partnerships to integrate equity considerations into organizational practices. Passionate that DEIA be bolted in and not on, he leverages his skills to foster equitable workplaces and thriving communities.
Originally from Northern Virginia, he is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a B.A. in Sociology. Out of the office, he enjoys spending quality time with friends or family, playing basketball, and traveling.
