Girado Smith II is the Senior Development Operations and Outreach Specialist at the National Partnership for Women & Families, where he manages day-to-day development operations and provides direction and oversight on all functional and operational elements that support fundraising excellence.

Prior to his work at the National Partnership, Girado was the Onboarding and Workflow Manager in the Member Services Department at First Book. He spent over eight years working at First Book after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor’s degree in Japanese.

Girado is a native to the Washington DC Metropolitan area. He has a desire to help improve the lives of others whenever he can and is a fitness fanatic. He runs his own business as a certified personal trainer and nutritional coach helping to improve the quality of life of his clients. When not in the office or training clients, you can find him engaging in fun activities, such as weightlifting, basketball, walking, gaming, and spending time with his loved ones.
