Grace Nielson

Position: Former Economic Justice Policy Associate

Grace Nielson was the economic justice policy associate at the National Partnership for Women & Families, where she supported the economic justice team across its key focus areas: paid leave, workplace equity, and discrimination.

Prior to joining the National Partnership, Grace worked in government affairs at both the federal and state level. In her previous roles, she successfully passed healthcare licensing statutes into law, advised on the appropriation of $89.4 million in state funds, and conducted extensive policy analysis on behalf of elected officials and public institutions in the sectors of public safety, energy, child welfare, housing, and higher education.

Grace holds a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, with concentrations in Social and Economic Development and Policy and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
