Kiera Peoples is a Policy Analyst on the Health Justice team at the National Partnership for Women & Families, where she works with Sarah Coombs on the Health System Transformation portfolio. In this work, she advocates for policies that improve quality, experience, and equity in the health care system through care delivery and payment reform.
Prior to joining the National Partnership, Kiera worked as a Program and Policy Analyst at Nemours Children’s Health for two years, focused on improving pediatric health care and equity through advancing whole child health initiatives, such as integrating care and social supports and promoting prevention strategies in primary care settings. While in this role, Kiera received her master’s in public health from Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. She found her passion for health equity during her undergraduate years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated in 2021. This passion continues to fuel her to do this work and be the voice for health care’s most vulnerable populations.
Kiera grew up in Georgia, but currently resides in the nation’s capital. Outside of work, you can find her at live concerts, the gym, or trying a new spicy food.
