Shilpa Phadke and Lisa Osborne Ross Join National Partnership’s Board

National Partnership welcomes Shilpa Phadke and Lisa Osborne Ross to the Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, D.C. – February 6, 2023 – Today the National Partnership announced the additions of Shilpa Phadke and Lisa Ross to the Board of Directors. Shilpa and Lisa were appointed during the December Board meeting.

Phadke joins the Partnership’s Board with over two decades of experience working in the White House and with progressive organizations. Most recently, she served in the Biden White House as the Deputy Director of the Gender Policy Council, leading the domestic policy efforts on gender equity, including reproductive rights and family economic security. She is also an adjunct professor at American University, where she teaches a course on women, policy and politics.

Ross joins the Partnership’s board with years of experience in communications, public affairs, and crisis management from the White House to the private sector. Currently, she serves as Edelman’s U.S. Chief Executive Officer, where she leads 13 offices and more than 3,000 employees. In addition to overseeing Edelman’s largest region, she also serves as a senior advisor to executives at Fortune 500, higher education, and government institutions and specializes in providing counsel on social purpose, corporate affairs, and DEI initiatives. She has served on numerous boards and commissions, including for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Meridian International Center, and Catholic Charities of America, and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC).
