WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 1, 2024 – The National Partnership for Women & Families announced Dvora Lovinger and Sara Goldberg as the organization’s newest vice presidents. Dvora joins the National Partnership as Vice President of Congressional Relations and Social Impact, where she leads the development and implementation of the organization’s congressional relations strategy and promotes corporate engagement for social impact. Additionally, Dvora will oversee development of the National Partnership’s strategic plan for its Business Working Group for Gender Equity. Sara joins the National Partnership as Vice President of Development, steering the organization’s efforts to engage and raise funds from foundations, corporations, and individuals to drive the greatest possible impact.

Dvora joins the National Partnership with more than two decades of experience working on Capitol Hill in both the House and Senate. Most recently, she served as Chief of Staff for Congressman John Sarbanes (D-MD), where she was the Congressman’s top advisor on all legislative, political, and communications issues. Previously, Dvora also worked for Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), first as her Research Director on her 2004 re-election campaign, then as her Legislative Assistant for education and labor, and finally as her Legislative Director.

Dvora also has experience working at non-profit organizations, including Enterprise Community Partners, an affordable housing group that works to bring people up and out of poverty. She began her professional career working on women’s equality and reproductive health issues at the Feminist Majority Foundation.

Sara brings over two decades of experience as a non-profit leader in donor relations and strategic communications. Before coming to the National Partnership, she held roles in various aspects of non-profit fundraising, communications, strategy and operations at organizations including the National Down Syndrome Society, Humanity & Inclusion and JDRF/Breakthrough T1D. She is passionate about building community and empowering change through philanthropy.

“I am thrilled to welcome Dvora and Sara to the National Partnership,” said Jocelyn C. Frye, President of National Partnership for Women & Families. “Dvora’s wealth of experience in government and legislative affairs, and Sara’s expertise in non-profit fundraising strategy and communications will be tremendous assets to our team. Both have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to policies that uplift and support working families, and I look forward to seeing Dvora and Sara continue our work to protect the health and economic security of all women.”

“The National Partnership is a fantastic organization with a smart, dedicated staff of policy and legislative experts,” said Dvora Lovinger, Vice President for Congressional Relations and Social Impact. “I’m so pleased to join this team and get to work advancing policies that close the gaps in society that leave too many women and families behind.”

“I’m excited to bring my passion for empowering change through philanthropy to the National Partnership,” said Sara Goldberg, Vice President for Development. “I look forward to collaborating with such a talented group to build a more equitable future for us all.”
