“The repeal plan crafted by conservative lawmakers and think tanks and released today is more of the same from politicians who are hell-bent on sabotaging the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and stripping health care from millions of women and families. In addition to leading to huge and harmful coverage losses, this plan would cause costs to skyrocket and deny essential consumer protections that millions of women and families rely on.

It is shameful that those who crafted this plan are prioritizing ACA repeal rather than working to find ways to stabilize the insurance markets and make quality, affordable care available to all. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle should ignore this irresponsible, harmful plan and instead work to enact policies that promote and protect the health and well-being of everyone. That kind of focus is long overdue.”
