Jenna Skinner Scanlan and Emma Shapiro Join National Partnership’s Board

WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 13, 2025 – Today, the National Partnership for Women & Families announced the additions of Jenna Skinner Scanlan and Emma Shapiro to the Board of Directors. Both were appointed during the April Board meeting.

Skinner Scanlan joins the Partnership’s Board as a local and national leader. She is the proud Emeritus Chair of the Ms. Foundation for Women, as well as a past Chair of the Santa Fe Hestia Fund and the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Institute. She is a licensed bilingual educator and a former public school teacher. Presently, Jenna serves as a Trustee of Santa Fe Preparatory School; a Founding Board Member of the Santa Fe International Literary Festival, and a Trustee of the Steele Family Foundation.

Shapiro joins the Partnerships board as a seasoned communications strategist with over 15 years of experience across politics, media, and entertainment. As the founder of Four Dot Communications, she advises clients on holistic communications strategy, message development, media partnerships, crisis management, and brand alignment. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President for Communications and Brand at Participant, where she collaborated on over 30 films and contributed to multiple Academy Award wins, impact campaigns, and industry recognition. Before that, she spent over a decade in political communications, including as Campaign Director of the Hub Project, and in various positions at the Center for American Progress, SKDKnickerbocker and EMILY’s List.
