At the event, National Partnership for Women & Families President Debra L. Ness will discuss the organization’s four decades of work to advance policies that help workers meet the dual demands of work and family, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, which turned 20 this year; next steps in the effort to secure a more fair and family friendly America; the imperative to improve access to quality, affordable, coordinated health care; and more.
The program will include remarks by Ellen Malcolm, chair of the Boards of Directors of EMILY’s List and the National Partnership; and WRC-TV’s Eun Yang, who will serve as emcee.
