DETAILS: At the event, Secretary Perez and Sheila Lirio Marcelo will give featured addresses. National Partnership for Women & Families President Debra L. Ness will discuss the organization’s more than four decades of work to make the country more healthy, fair and family friendly. She will talk in-depth about the need to advance programs and policies that promote equal opportunity, paid leave, paid sick days, and quality, affordable health care including the comprehensive reproductive health services women need.
The program will include remarks by Ellen Malcolm, chair of the boards of directors of EMILY’s List and the National Partnership; and The Washington Post’s Petula Dvorak, who will serve as emcee.
