The National Partnership for Women & Families will honor Kathleen Sebelius, United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, at its 2010 Annual Luncheon on June 24.

National Partnership President Debra L. Ness will discuss critical next steps in implementing health reform, and other challenges and opportunities facing our nation. She will talk about the National Partnership’s work to promote fairness in the workplace; improve access to quality, affordable health care; and advocate for policies that help workers meet the dual demands of work and family. The program will also include remarks from: Ellen Malcolm, Chair of the Board of EMILY’s List and Chair of the National Partnership’s Board of Directors; Regina Holliday, who is using paint and brushes to promote health reform and patients’ rights; and WRC-TV anchor Eun Yang, who will serve as emcee.

Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius joins the National Partnership as this year’s distinguished honoree and keynote speaker to address the Obama Administration’s commitment to women and families as it implements health reform and rebuilds the economy.
