At the event, National Partnership for Women & Families President Debra L. Ness will discuss the war on women, and next steps in making the nation more fair and family friendly, improving health care, and more. She will talk about the National Partnership’s four decades of work to promote fairness in the workplace; improve access to quality, affordable health care; and advocate for policies that help workers meet the dual demands of work and family.

The program will include remarks by: Ellen Malcolm, Chair of the Boards of Directors of EMILY’s List and the National Partnership; Pamela Daley, Senior Vice President, Corporate Business Development, GE; Sandra Fluke, women’s health advocate; and WRC-TV’s Eun Yang, who will serve as emcee.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton joins the National Partnership as this year’s distinguished honoree and keynote speaker to address women’s critical importance to our foreign policy and the continuing need for advocacy to advance the status of women at home and abroad. Secretary Clinton will highlight the central role of women to achieving our larger strategic goals, from improving economic outcomes to bolstering security and political stability around the world.
