This terrible legislation would have interfered with the crucial patient-provider relationship, required healthcare professionals to perform actions that may be medically and ethically inappropriate, and compromised physicians’ ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.

This bill is just the latest example of the relentless attacks on reproductive health care and underscores how far anti-abortion politicians and the Trump administration will go to enact laws and policies that restrict and undermine quality care in order to advance their ideological agenda.
