We know that trans people face harsh discrimination when seeking jobs, housing, health care and generally trying to live out their lives. This is especially true for trans women of color who bear the brunt of misogyny and violence that is pervasive in our culture. Make no mistake, this is an attempt to not only disenfranchise trans people but to enshrine ‘Proud Boy’ culture into law. We will not allow it. We stand with the entire women’s rights and civil rights community ready to fight back.”
