The National Partnership for Women & Families, which leads the Healthy Families Act Coalition, today announced that it has been awarded a 2008 WebAward for the “Online Rally for Healthy Families” website located at http://www.everyonegetssick.org/.
“We created the online rally to raise awareness that all workers need paid sick days,” said National Partnership for Women & Families President Debra L. Ness. “On behalf of the National Partnership and the Healthy Families Act Coalition, we are delighted that the Web Marketing Association has given us this award. With our many allies at the local, state and federal levels, we are continuing our work to convince Congress to pass the Healthy Families Act, so all workers will have a minimum standard of paid sick days.”
